Wellcast Industries is committed to protect the health & safety of everyone who plays an important part in our operations, lives in the communities in which we operate or uses our products. Whenever we operate, we will conduct our business with respect and care for both the local and global environment and systematically manages risk to drive sustainable business growth. We do not stop until we succeed in eliminating all injuries, occupational, illness, unsafe and incidents of environmental harm from our activities.

To meet our commitment, wellcast Industries is adhered to follow the below points:

- Demonstrating visible and active leadership that engages employees and service providers and manages health, safety and environmental (HSE) performance as a line responsibility with clear authorities and accountabilities.
- Ensuring that all employees and contractors understand that working safely is a condition of employment, and that they are each responsible for their own safety and the safety those around them.
- Maintaining “stop work policy” that establish the responsibility and authority for all employees and contractors to stop they believe to be unsafe
- Managing all projects, products and processes through their life cycle in a way that protects safety, health and minimize impacts on the environment
- Providing employee with capabilities, knowledge and resources necessary to instil personal ownership and motivation to achieve HSE excellence. Providing relevant safety and health information to the safe, environmentally sound performance of their work
- For effective prevention and protection against hazardous exposure in our foundry, there is collaboration between the planners and developers of processes, procedures and premises, and cooperation between workers and their representatives, manager and OSH professionals
- Work with both Government and stakeholders where we operate to develop regulations and standards that improve the safety and health of people and the environment
- Guidance on issues is included in the risk assessment which available from manufacturers and suppliers of substances, machinery and other equipment. Further guidance also available from the occupational hygienist, competent engineers and specialist in the occupational medicine
- To minimize operational risk factors centre on the reduction or elimination of harmful exposures we are eliminating hazardous substances from the process and removing them from the site wherever substances private by local statutes or regulations are encountered
